Strawberry Lemonade Electrolyte Pops
Posted by ANNA MCKELVEY
Are you on the hunt for different ways to incorporate your electrolytes? Or maybe you’re just looking for an easy recipe to stick in your freezer so it’s at the ready when your kids get home from school. Whatever the reason, it’s always the season for popsicles! These quick-to-make and easy-to-take electrolyte popsicles are just what your family needs for an after dinner treat or the post practice hydration.
There are so many different combinations you can create when making your own popsicles, so play around! The next time you’re at your local supermarket, take a stroll down the juice aisle and grab something that sounds good to you.
You can keep it simple with just juice or add in some fresh fruit or herbs to make it extra special. Most berries work wonderfully in popsicles, but other choices could be mango, kiwi, peach, or even watermelon. Whatever your flavor choice might be, you'll know that you’re giving your body the balance of minerals that it craves by including a few capfuls of Lyte Balance — your secret ingredient to wellness.
Here’s our guide on how we made these sweet & tart strawberry lemonade pops:
First — You’re going to take about 1 cup of fresh strawberries and dice them up small enough so that they fit inside of your favorite ice molds.
Next — Get your freshly-made lemonade (or store bought, if you’re a busy mom like us) and add in 3-4 capfuls of Lyte Balance. Make sure to thoroughly mix this together to get an even distribution.
Finally — Prepare your pops! We like to place the fruit first and then pour our lemonade over the top. Pro-tip: gently tap your molds on the counter to make sure you don’t have any air bubbles after they freeze.
All that’s left to do is stick your pops in the freezer to enjoy in a few hours. Your taste buds will thank you just as much as your body will. What flavor are you going to try?
