With the start of back-to-school season and fall knocking on our doors, we all know what comes next — the dreaded sniffles. This season is full of bugs brought back home from the office and school, and we all could use a little boost to our system.
This hydrating, immunity-boosting, and delicious juice recipe will have your body saying thank you for all of the extra vitamins, gut-boosters, and minerals. With vibrant carrots, sweet oranges, tangy ginger, and soothing turmeric, this easy go-to juice is just a few minutes away from boosting your immunity and increasing your hydration.
Let’s take a look at the ingredients and their benefits —
Carrots: Contain Vitamin A and Beta Carotene. Vitamin A helps with your body’s upkeep of your mucous membrane, which is integral to fighting off bacterial and viral infections.
Orange & Lemon: High in Vitamin C, the most important nutrient when it comes to your immune system. Vitamin C also helps to increase the absorption of iron, another important nutrient for your body’s immune health.
Ginger: A natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, ginger also increases the productivity of your digestive system. Gut health is super important when it comes to immunity, and ginger is your perfect addition.
Tumeric: Curcumin is the active ingredient in Tumeric and it’s extremely antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory. This promotes your immune response to fight off infection.
Lyte Balance: Provides your body with the exact ratio of minerals that your system craves. With potassium, phosphate, sodium, and magnesium, this is the key ingredient to improve your body’s overall hydration.
Let’s get to juicing! Here’s our recipe full of all of those amazing ingredients:
